Client Sites

From Scratch

RE Tracker home page

RE Tracker — This site was created from scratch to promote the trial use of a software product for real estate agents.  The client asked to keep the site clean and simple, encourage visitors to download the 30-day trial and to handle a fairly complex registration scheme.  This involved synchronizing with the developer's registration server and processing credit card purchases using PayPal.  This required quite a bit of PHP and MySQL code to work with the remote servers.

Davis-Latham Construction — Davis-Latham is a small business that does general contracting for building upscale custom homes and retail businesses in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Texas area.  This site is being created from scratch and the goal is not to make it slick, but to demonstrate the range of construction possible and to keep it friendly.  This site is still being developed.

BeGoneBadBreath home page

BeGoneBadBreath was created for a dentist to market his fresh breath dental kits.  The request was for an affordable, yet attractive 3-page site to get up and running with an online shop.  The product ordering is integrated with PayPal for credit card processing and optionally automated shipment tracking via USPS.

The next phase will be to add more products and move to a shopping cart model with the ability for the customer to buy multiple items in one purchase and implement more sophisticated shipment calculations and options.

ClipSigns — ClipSigns manufacturers a technically advanced sign display kit.  These display kits are sold to both consumers and professionals who need signage shown at tabletop displays.
The site has a complete shopping cart to show the various kits, supplies and replacement parts and to handle all of the shipping and payment processing.

TallRides website

TallRides.com is a "hobby" website of our owner.  It is a site for bicyclist that are 6' tall or more and lists bikes, parts and articles that are specific to the tall guys.  It does have a nice classified ad section that is fairly sophisticated and allows site visitors to post items for sale there.

Under the Hood

First Plan home page

First Plan — For First Plan, a Portland company that specializes in sales, service and training in customer relationship management (CRM), their web site had to be completely recoded to be search engine friendly, be manageable for frequent updates and to redo the marketing messages.  Existing graphics and layout were retained.  New search engine-friendly navigation roll down buttons were implemented along with many other new features.  The next step will be a graphic redesign.

Decoz Numerology is a website developed by a professional numerologist over 8 years ago.  The site was built by hand and has maybe 1,000 pages.  Our goal was to update the overall look and feel of the site without changing it so much it would be unfamilar to it's thousands of regular visitors.
We added a slick nav bar, put all testimonials in a single box in the left column, rewrote much of the text on the key landing pages and tightened up the overall page structure.  Also working with the new site owner's engineers we rebuilt the process for downloading the trial software and processing the purchase and upgrades that originate with the trial software.
Again this is a work in progress.
